Dr. David J Butler

Dr. David J. Butler, DVM
Auburn University

 

Dr. David J. Butler, DVM established Pet Vet in 1996.  Dr. Dave and his wife Peppy have called Grassland home for the past twenty years.  Their two children, Grace and Libby, live on their farm with two Chihuahuas, two Austrailian Shepherds (Everest and Possum), two fainting goats (Pass Out Pete and Fainting Fritz), eleven cats (too many to name), sixteen horses and ponies and 15 chickens.

Dr. Sarah E Alexander

Dr. Sarah E. Alexander, DVM
University of Tennessee

 

Dr. Sarah E. Alexander, DVM joined Pet Vet in 2008.  Dr. Sarah is a native of Grassland and has returned home to provide quality care to the area's family pets and to be close to her family and friends. She and her husband, Michael, have a cheerful son named Ellis, and a very vocal foxhound named Brake.

In her free time she enjoys kayaking, hiking, and camping. 

 Dr. John A. Mays

Dr. John A. Mays, DVM
University of Tennessee

 

Dr. John A. Mays, DVM joined Pet Vet in 2016.  Dr. John is a Franklin, Tennessee native who returned back to the area after graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine to be close to his family.

He is a huge Tennessee Volunteers fan. He has two dogs (one Corgi and one mixed breed brindle) and a short hair cat name “Riff Raff”.

In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, running, and trying new restaurants with his favorite part being desserts.
